Margaritaville Beach Resort - South Padre Island

We recently hosted our staff retention retreat at Margaritaville – South Padre Island, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The catering team was absolutely phenomenal — attentive, efficient, and genuinely kind throughout our entire event. They were constantly refreshing stations, clearing tables, and making sure everything stayed clean and organized without ever being intrusive. A special thank you to Ramiro, Robert, and Laura, who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail truly made our group feel cared for and welcomed. Their service elevated the entire retreat experience. We’re incredibly grateful and highly recommend Margaritaville for any group events or gatherings — we can’t wait to come back!

Spent a week here and had the best time! The room was nice, clean, and maid service was top notch. Everyone was so friendly. From the folks at Coffee bar to the folks at the bar and grill you couldn’t ask for friendlier service. Even the front desk staff was so amazing and helpful in any questions we had. The Valet was super friendly. Would gladly rebook again!

We have stayed at the Margaritaville five times and they all have been excellent stays! From the friendly staff at the front desk to the restaurant everyone has been amazing!The room has always been clean . It is a great Beachfront location. Great pool with heated pool to use when it’s chilly. Great bar and great service. I recommend it to anyone that is looking to have a great time. I have stayed at other hotels here at SPI and they don’t compare to the Margaritaville. I travel with my husband and we always have a great time here, we are never disappointed.

I had a fantastic stay at Margaritaville Resort for my 30th birthday. The staff was very friendly, even upgraded my room to a poolside room at check in for no charge! Super appreciated that. It seems like it is the nicest resort on the island. Loved the swim up bar and service, they were fantastic. I can't wait to come back.

Rosie at the front desk was Amazing! She didn't just check me in- she made sure all my questions were answered and that the entire process was smooth, easy, and peaceful. Her kindness and attention truly set the tone for our stay. As a cherry on top, we were surprised with two complimentary margaritas - one for me and one for my husband! An absolute gem. Great service; and staff aren't just friendly but care about your stay. On departure several even stopped in their personal car on their own time to wish me well as I was departing. I will never stay anywhere but Margaritaville when Im in the area. They most certainly embody the spirit of their name!

Our stay at Margaritaville in South Padre Island was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location is incredibly convenient — right where you want to be with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The property itself is beautiful, clean, and spacious, with tons of amenities that made our trip both relaxing and fun. After a disaster with our VRBO and a very last-minute transition to the hotel, we were pretty stressed — but Rosie completely turned our day around. She helped us check in early, was so pleasant, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. We are so grateful for her kindness and professionalism! Ernestro was also an absolute delight. He was incredibly helpful with parking and our luggage, and his friendly attitude made us feel right at home from the start. Dj is an incredible asset to the team. He made this whole experience an incentive to come back. He made us feel like family and our stay would not have been the same without him. Absolutely excellent customer service, professionalism, and kindness. The entire staff was fun, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Margaritaville saved our trip, and we will definitely be back!

Zuleyma, our waitress at the bar at Margaritaville South Padre Resort, was absolutely amazing! From the start, she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Even while the bar was busy, she stayed on top of everything and made sure our drinks came out perfectly and quickly. Her positive attitude and genuine care really stood out! you can tell she enjoys what she does and wants guests to have a great experience. She checked in on us just the right amount and brought such a great vibe to our time there. Zuleyma truly made our visit memorable. Margaritaville is lucky to have her, and we hope to be served by her again next time
